With extensive experience in HIV specialty care and the HIV pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Kimberley Brown brings invaluable skills and background to ViiV Healthcare, with areas of expertise including HIV clinical practice, medical strategy and clinical development. Her mission is to bridge science and strategy to deliver innovative solutions that advance healthcare globally.
Current Role
As ViiV’s Head of US Medical Affairs, Kimberley ensures medical integrity and oversight of ViiV initiatives, including developing medical strategies for ViiV therapies, leading development of ViiV-sponsored clinical research and investigator-sponsored research studies, overseeing ViiV product education, and providing medical input and oversight for the commercial organization.
Experience
Kimberley joined ViiV in 2023, serving as VP Global Medical Leader for Cabotegravir, leading a wide variety of initiatives to improve access, care and people development. Prior to that, she spent more than 15 years building her experience in infectious disease, especially HIV. She has served in field and in-house Medical Affairs and R&D leadership positions creating medical strategy for HIV, Hepatitis and Vaccines.
Education
Kimberley obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
